Stress tends to hit us when we're overtired, when we're sick, and when we're outside of our safe and familiar environment. When we've taken on too many responsibilities, during times of grief and tragedy, when our circumstances spin out of control, we feel stressed. And when our basic needs are not being met, we feel threatened and anxious. Stressed-out preschoolers Daycare or preschool stress can be measured by the levels of cortisol-—a stress hormone—-that children produce during the day. In normal, healthy people, cortisol levels follow a daily rhythm, peaking when they wake and then falling over the course of the day. There are chapters per book. I prefer to supplement with other workbooks for a more rounded out and progressive knowledge, but this does an excellent job of keeping the students interested and engaged in Math. The books go in alphabetical order, with Apples being about a Grade 1 level, and Butterflies Grade , Cats and Dogs Grade , etc.   Stress is a part of our everyday life. Sometimes we worry, sometimes we feel frightened. Everyone deals with their stress in their own way. But sometimes we're stressed and not even aware of it. We think of it as being distracted, or having trouble sleeping, when the truth is we are just stressed out.

One time I looked at the mandelbrot set (was in my precalc book) and made a program to make some cool renderings.

I think if you were to take, say, micrograms of LSD you might get some revelations. Stress may trigger drug abuse, and regular drug abuse may induce higher levels of stress. The point of doing the math is to end up with an answer in milliliters or drops per minute (gtts/min).

This is because our syringes & bags of fluid are measured in milliliters, and we need to figure out how many ml or gtts/min will equal the dose we want to. The process of pharmacokinetics has 5 steps: Liberation - the drug is released from the formulation.; Absorption - the drug enters the body.; Distribution - the drug disperses throughout the body; Metabolism - the drug is broken down by the body.; Excretion - the drug is eliminated from the body.; Of course, each drug needs to act on the body in a different way.
